Hidden Worlds: look longer, see more
Hidden Worlds collects Madelyn Webb's densely layered mixed-media works. Cities, gardens, figures and creatures are woven into a whirl of colour, and new details keep appearing the longer you look.
In MANIFESTON (2020) a city with ships and towers unfolds under swirling blue forms. LOVIKA (2021) is a deep green, overgrown world with a reclining figure in red, and in CONQUER THE BEAST (2021) small figures and animals fill every corner of the canvas.
Also in the series: THETERON, INTERIORTE and DURINDA.
