Dreamscapes: surreal compositions in colour
Dreamscapes brings together Madelyn Webb's large surreal compositions. Faces, figures and everyday objects drift through warm, saturated colour, often seen from an unexpected angle.
In AREOZAN (2024) a large elephant head, a floating figure, fruit and a lighthouse share one scene. ATRUSKA and ALEGENDA, from the same year, continue that language: in ALEGENDA a pair of legs stands at the centre, one foot stepping into a purple shoe.
The series also includes PINKDOT and BOOS THE UNIVERSE (both 2021), where an eye, lips and a heart turn into swirling, almost abstract forms.
